Great Wine Events I've now been to two great wine events at Nicholas Roberts. Their staff does a great job welcoming everyone and making them feel at home. Last night we were served a Prix Fixe Dinner with four wines from Joseph Carr. Wild Mushroom risotto was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The entree (Rack of Lamb with Pomegranate Sauce) was beautifully designed and perfectly cook. This place is a bargain. I can't wait to try their Sunday Brunch. [13 Oct 2007 12:18:26]

Love it I went to this place when I had my car being fixed on and it turned out to be the best fine in CT. Love the Brunch with reasonable prices. Do not accept Credit Cards so bring cash. The front end help is personable and always willing to talk, unless busy in the place. Great place. Great Food [12 Jan 2008 14:18:22]

Wonderful Find It is tempting to keep this place a secret as the food and relaxed atmosphere are absolutely stellar - but for the husband and wife and extended family who tend this fledgling dining business (an extension of a longer established catering operation) I'm happy to spread the word.
Generous portions of deliciously seasoned, well-presented food warmed us on chilly night. Braised Beef, Hanger Steak and Boneless Pork Chop all wonderful, and appetisers a delight. Try the Crawfish Beignets, Chicken Liver Pate and delectable salads. Desserts don't let one down either.
Unlicensed, so you can bring your best wine for $5 corkage (max $10 for 2 bottles plus) and no reservations. No credit cards. $30 - $40 for 3 courses [12 Jan 2008 20:21:30]
