Will have to give it another try While attended only a few weeks after opening we had a bad time. We being 4 adults and 4 kids..The wait staff didn't know the menu and the wait between apps. and entree was far to long for what we had ordered [10 Nov 2006 13:58:30]

Awesome Food, Friendly Service, Great Meeting Place. My experience with Fifty Coins was excellent. Lunch was perfectly presented and made with quality product, I did not have to add anything to it. Its a great place for anyone to get together. They have a terrific bar too. [15 Dec 2006 12:46:12]

Perfect for nice family dining.... Great, family-friendly atmosphere- lots of choices for the kids. Prices are also family-friendly. Food is always fresh and comes out quickly. You might think to try the steak but it's better than most steak houses I've been to. There is also a full bar if mom and dad want a little something. Plasma TV's keep you posted on the sports games of the day. All around aa great restaurant- a place my family and I will go again for sure. [08 Jan 2007 12:39:26]

Great Atmosphere, Service & Food! Our cheeseburgers, philly cheese steaks, fries (I recommend the sweet potato) & chocolate shake arrived promptly and tasted delicious. Fifty Coins is beautifully decorated with an equestrian and extremely comfortable atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience and we are definitely going back! [09 Jan 2007 12:25:32]

Coins have gone cheap The first visit was early after the opening. Way too noisy and the main dining room was filled with kids for an adult couple to enjoy a meal. Next visit we discovered the bar -- comfortable chairs and no children. Red wine was served in nice big glasses which added to the experience. Last week (4/7/07) it all went down hill. Twelve of the bar seats were filled with children under the age of 10 -- some doing their homework on the bar. Crying and playing made the adult experience impossible. Then the last disappointment -- the big red wine glasses had been replaced with "toddler" size glasses to save money. Until 50 Coins appreciates the adults in this town, it will no longer be our eating place of choice.
If you want to eat at Chucky Cheese go to 50 Coins. [14 Apr 2007 17:57:16]

I love 50 Coins I love this place. I eat here a lot and I meet others for drinks as well. The food is awesome, the prices are so reasonable, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the overall vibe is enjoyable. I am actually making plans to eat there tonight. Love it. [24 Jul 2007 12:47:57]

Best Place In Town I love Fifty Coins, I enjoy the food just about every day, I should almost work here. It's everything the town of Ridgefield, and the new opening in New Canaan is just what the town needed. I went there for the first time and had there wings and watched the game, couldn't get better. If u want a good inexpensive meal go to fifty coins. After the first time I was in love. Went to the bar with my fiancé and the food was great with the entertainment with the plasma tv's. I wouldn't choose a better place to go if you don't want to miss a game at the same time enjoying a great inexpensive meal. Highly recommended to families and couples. Excellent patio. My new favorite place to go. [19 Aug 2008 01:47:13]
