cheddar cheese? Where the hell did they get the idea that pizza should be made with cheddar cheese? It tastes terrible. It is way greasy. The absolute worst pizza I have ever tasted in my life. I'd rather eat some Mrs. T's frozen pizzas from the grocery store than to buy Grotto's. But this is just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions. [10 Aug 2002 03:39:13]

The Best Pizza! Ever! I've been eating it since I was a little kid. I couldn't wait for summer, so I could go to the beach and have pizza. It's unique tastes sets it apart from every other pizza chain out there. This pizza is best served on the boardwalk at night. Now I live in Texas and wish they would open a resteraunt out here. Fully recommend! Far superior than any pizza out there. The crust, sauce and cheese are all bursting with flavor not found in mass marketed blasé pizzas most people are used to. Take the time to taste the difference and enjoy the experience. Don't be a trailer park imbecile and shovel piece after piece wondering why you can't make the cheese stretch across the table like the other reviewing idiot. [30 Dec 2003 09:33:12]

Kid Friendly I've eaten at Grotto's many times while staying at Bethany Beach. I recommend it to any anyone having to tote little kids along. Decent pizza at an affordable price plus an ajoined arcade for after the meal is sure to put a smile on any kid's face. Also the seaside theming makes for a stylish environment. A Legacy I grew up on this stuff. Grotto Pizza is better than most pizza chains in Delaware. It has a hard time measuring up to it's competition in Pennsylvania against Old Forge pizza though. Overall, I have never been disappointed by Grotto's food, both pizza and otherwise. [08 Oct 2005 14:04:06]

Late night heaven Getting pizza by the slice at Grotto's after the beach clubs in Dewey Beach closed was an experience to be remembered, a combination of an auction and the floor of the stock exchange. There was something magical about Grotto's pizza, too. Great taste and cures hangovers. [12 Jul 2006 20:44:32]
