I remember these sandwiches since I was eight years old. Fifteen years later I still have cravings for the steak and cheese with peppers. They were the only place to serve the best salt and vinegar chips I can fathom. My family has always had a favorite restaurant in every state we've lived in. The Perfect Sandwich
When I moved to Delaware from New York City I figured I knew the best sandwiches in the world. I was wrong. I knew the second best. The best is the Delaware Sub. And nobody does it better than Casapulla's. Casapulla's North, a relatively recent branch of the original family deli in Elsmere, keeps the tradition not only alive but vibrant. Recommended Dishes: Italian sub with everything -- hot and sweet 'Everything' automatically includes: lettuce, tomato, raw onions, pickles, hot and sweet peppers, provolone, salad oil, oregano, salt, pepper. Italian includes Italian salami and ham.

Subs the Real Deal
Casapulla's makes the best Italian subs on the planet. These are as different from "Subway" as charbroiled steak is from MacDonalds! Rolls are crunchy outside, chewy inside. Meats (pepper ham, capicolla, salami) are fresh and tasty. Lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, pepper, sweet or hot peppers, drenched with light salad oil. No mayo here!

Nothing Like it

THE Sub.
I've eaten Casapulla's subs since I was a kid (now a senior)! Nobody comes close. When others talk about who makes good subs, I tell them to visit Casapulla's - THEN decide. Raised on Cazz's.
I grew up in Elsmere, DE, about 3 blocks from the store. Casapulla's not only has the best tasting subs and steaks around, they have the most reasonably priced. Casapullas Rocks
I grew up on Casapulla Subs. I am such a devoted fan that I even have a 8x10 picture of the place in a nice frame hanging on my wall. It brings back awesome childhood memories.
