Very Good I have enjoyed going to Pasta Faire many many times. They have excellent dishes and specials. We have never gotten bad service before. I have always noticed how polite and friendly the servers are. I enjoy going in there and will continue to go. [24 Apr 2005 12:08:16]

One of the Better Restaurants in the Ocala Area. We have been to almost every restaurant in S.E. Ocala since moving here seven years ago. Pasta Faire in Belleview is one of the best.
I have always found the service to be courteous, friendly and prompt. The food is prepared and presented well. I would recommend Pasta Faire to any one seeking a fine casual dining experience. [30 Jun 2005 07:11:37]

What Has happened to our Pasta Faire We have been going to Pasta Faire since 1997.
We have had several incidents of dissatisfaction. Mind you, it wasn't even snow bird season (October to March when the retired northerners come down to Florida).
My husband and I usually order a couple of appetizers and a dinner portion of an entree with drinks. When our bill came, we were horrified to find a "sharing fee" on our bill. We asked to see the manager. He was polite but insisted that this was corporate policy. What corporate??? This is not a chain restaurant! He gave us a number to call to complain as according to him they have been receiving countless complaints and it would help if we notify "corporate" whatever that means. Needless to say it took a long time before we went back there to eat.
In October 2005 two months ago,we again went back to eat. We ordered promptly and it took, I kid you not, 45 minutes for our food to be served. Not only was it late but their prices are getting way up there for this type of service.
The bathroom also need work done. Lotsa times there's no paper towel nor toilet paper. Like I said, I am a local. I know the place.
As locals, it makes us sad to see a fine restaurant that serves excellent food go down this way. But some good things never last I guess.
Oh, and about the "sharing fee"? They no longer charge it!

WOW My husband and I recently moved to Belleview and were delighted to find Pasta Faire. We have gone only 2 times, but the food, atmosphere, service, and timing were very good. We will continue to go. I was surprised to read about the unpleasant experience that a few of the posters had. Friendly service, good food, and great bread. [20 Feb 2006 12:50:03]

We are locals and visited Pasta Faire recently with our 3 children. It was late for them to be eating dinner and we were in a hurry to get them to bed. Needless to say, we were watching the clock. It took more than a half hour to even acknowledge that we were sitting there. We finally got up and walked out. We returned once again thinking that the flaw in the service was a one time thing. It was not. The service is horrible. The food is good if you can get them to bring it to you and forget refills on your drinks. This used to be a favorite restaurant of mine years ago. They have gone way down hill and have become over priced for the quality of service and cleanliness. [18 Jul 2006 15:38:32]

Great Food, Mediocre Service I have eaten at Pasta Faire regularly for a very long time, now.
The food is always wonderful.
The best service I have ever had could, at best, be described as ranging from indifferent to mediocre. [11 Nov 2006 09:28:45]

Great Food Lousy Service I stopped going to this eatery about a year ago because of the horrid service & lack luster food. They closed down for awhile so I assumed they were under new management when they reopened, So I gave it another shot. I have to tell you for the first time since I moved here from the Big Apple. Eureka real Italian food!
The bread was fresh the salad was green 7 crispy. The service was the same horrid. Where on earth do they find these servers? I asked to speak with the proprietor, only to find out that it was the same owner? Well the food has definatley improved to perfection, the atmosphere looks like they are trying to make an improvement, the service is less than adequate which made my meal less enjoyable. The only friendly face I saw was the pizza guy when you walk in. It took for ever to get seated, forever to get a drink. And by goodness we were served our food & had to wait on silverware to eat!! Bravo on the cuisine Mr. Owner, but you have a lot more improving needed on your staff. I might go back. [26 Nov 2007 13:15:11]

Nice Restaurant We moved to Belleview about 7 years ago (from Syracuse, NY). With very few exceptions, we have always had good food and service. We usually make reservations when we eat there. We are very pleased with this neat little restaurant. [20 Mar 2008 12:05:15]

AWESOME!! I have been a regular of this restaurant for years. I have lived in the area my entire life and honestly have yet to find any Italian food better than Pasta Faire's. As far as prices go, they're EXCELLENT!! Where else can you get all you can eat spaghetti for $5.99 ?!?!?! Granted that is only one day a week (Thursday), but they have many dishes under $10; all the items on their lunch and early bird menus are under $10 also.
Service has also been good for me the majority of times I've been there. Very friendly and attentive servers. I would recommend this place to anyone!!! [16 May 2008 13:34:19]
