Bring Your Appetite
If you're expecting something fancy, the No Name Pub is definitely not for you. But if what you want is good food, cold beverages, and friendly service, this is the spot!
The diminutive pub is decorated with dollar bills signed by those who posted them. If the place burned to the ground, the largest loss would be the cash assets tacked to the walls, beams, and ceiling.
If you order the pizza with everything, and you have a hearty appetite, plan on eating only one...maybe two slices at the very most. But that's all right, it will taste just as good for breakfast tomorrow.
Ratings are as listed...except you need to know about the rest rooms. Early Texaco station. Go before you leave home. Men's room door doesn't lock. But don't let the facilities make you shy away.
You'll love it, if you can find it.
My last trip, we saw 2 Key Deer at dusk, just meandering through a neighborhood, on the way to the No Name Pub.
You'll want a hat or T-shirt.    [24 Dec 2002 10:55:37]

PIZZA
The pizza there is the greatest. As soon as I got there the first place my dad took me to was the famous NO NAME PUB.    [23 May 2003 16:55:09]

Don't miss it!
The sign out front is hand lettered simply 'no name pub'. Most people find it by driving around until they drive right past it and then circle back. Parking lot will bottom out your car if you're not careful but it's worth the effort! Walk in the door and you immediatly see thousands of dollar bills hanging all over the place. People go there and write on the bills and staple them to the walls, ceiling, any wooden surface in the pub! It's dark and the floor is uneven and the tables are made of scarred wood and man oh man it's great!!! You are seated as soon as possible (if you go at proper meal time, you'll likely have to wait for a table)and the service is great! The pizza is the best I've ever had anywhere, especially the shrimp pizza. It's just plain succulent! Tons of shrimp and the cheese just drips off...looks like Chicago pizza, but tastes much better. The conch fritters are the best I've had. The conch is tender here and the same can be said for their clams. Tender clams that are bigger than your middle finger and just so moist and tasty. Conch and big clams can be rubbery, but even your toothless granny could gum these! Fried grouper and shrimp were just melt in your mouth good. Buffalo shrimp that will burn the hair out of your nose but taste so good make you want to have more. Tons of food for the price also. The experience of dining is as great as the food. From the waiters that write nothing down to getting your napkin from the roll of paper towels on the table...I just love this place! Just use the back entrance and avoid the bathroom! Don't miss it whatever you do!    [11 Jan 2004 23:19:07]

Worth The Trip
We stayed at MM14 and drove to No Name Pub twice. Ordered the shrimp pizza both times (although the sauce is not that great) and also tried the most wonderful Buffalo Shrimp. They give you enough for two. If we hadn't already ordered the pizza we would have gotten another order of Buffalo Shrimp; hot but not too hot.

The decor is typical of what to expect in Key West. Don't dress up!!!!    [06 May 2004 18:02:37]

Awesome Shrimp Pizza
This place is the best. Half the fun is just trying to find the place. We drove past it and had to go back to find it. Well worth the effort.    [12 Mar 2007 14:42:27]

Two Hour wait well worth it!
The food is awesome, service is good, and the building is being held up by dollar bills, but if you are looking for a place that gushes the ambiance of the Keys-- this is the spot. Over the last 7 years, whenever we go back to the Keys, we always return to No Name Pub. It may be hard to find but well worth the effort! PS you must try their fish dip - sounds bad taste great!    [02 Jul 2007 15:51:50]
