A truly perfect experience
For the first time in a long time, I had the perfect experience at this restaurant/martini bar. Being a DJ, I appreciate the music and ambiance almost as much as the food and service. Fortunately for me, the new owner of Cafe Bellino shares the same thoughts. The building was dark, yet alive with art and decor. The music was a uptempo acid jazz with a latin twist...not too loud, but loud enough to drown out the noise of other patrons. We started out with complimentary bread and oil. The bread is made in house daily, and OH MY GOD was it good. We had the antipasto as an appetizer, which was delicious. My girlfriend had the lobster ravioli (best lobster ravioli I have EVER had), and I had the chicken parmesan (it was HUGE). Then for dessert we had a freshly baked apple tart....better than mom used to make. After dinner, we decided to hang out and drink on the back patio where there is a huge lounge area with couchs and cocktail tables, an outdoor bar, and live music playing in an open aired patio.
