Local Favorite This place has existed in the same location for over a decade. It appears they have perfected the menu. Wait times may be longer during winter months. The price is right for quality and quantity. Cleanliness is above average. [25 Jan 2002 21:06:06]

Los Mayas - lost all interest Yes, it has been 6 years since I tried this place & joined co-workers for lunch today since I'd heard of changes. Only the name has changed; even the menu, owners and booth-tables are the same but with new fabric.
Service and overall quality has DRASTICALLY declined. Our order was placed with an inattentive server (waitress) and we waited...... Real "service" no longer exists except for fast busing.
The food quality is substandard, and long hold time after prep seems common practice as the rice on my plate arrived hard and dry on the outer edges. I had ordered chicken enchiladas which arrived as beef; the unapologetic waitress said she would "order a side"; by the time it arrived, the rest of the party had finished and it was time to return to work (my order was refused & removed from the check).
Three out of four were dissatisfied with the quality of food and service and we all agreed to go elsewhere next time.
HANDICAPPED? --- On a visit to the reasonably clean restroom, I find it to be only wheelchair accessible while assisted. There is a vestibule that CANNOT allow 2 doors to open with a chair in the middle (technically, the 2nd door is not needed). The hallway to restrooms is unlit. [29 Feb 2008 22:26:46]
