The Wings are the Best The food is usually better than you'd expect. Portions are reasonable for the price. Cleanliness varies, as well as quality of service; but we only go there for the food. Mugs is a local favorite & their wings are the best I've had in town. []

Great Food! This is one of my favorite lunch and after work places. I've never been disappointed by the food... much better than you would expect! Portions are large and prices are good. And yes, the honey bbq wings are the area's best and biggest! (honey bbq buffalo chicken salad also great!) [24 Dec 2003 11:33:44]

Going Down.... This HAD been my favorite haunt since the doors first opened, but ... all things change.
Male customers are now usually addressed as "hun" (which makes my skin crawl).
Recent price increases to wings are unjustified (80 cents each per 5). "Giant Wings" (the only size offered) can no longer be recommended by me; I mistook them for legs and thighs in the early years .... now they are grocery store sized. It's about time for Abe (the owner) to remove the word "Giant" from the menu.
The female servers now sit more than attend, and seem to rather enjoy the public hugs and gropes from the male employees. A visit yesterday revealed 10 waitresses sitting at table-space while 3 worked; they used to have their own room out of customer's sight. The service has dropped to an all-time low when Abe is not on-site; he recently opened a second location on Missouri Ave. It's just sad....
To me, this restaurant has now become just another sports/karaoke bar. It is comparable to Hooters and Ker's Winghouse when it comes to menu and prices, but quality of service is lower (as of this writing). [23 Feb 2006 13:54:43]
