Description

Colorful with tons of atmosphere and beach locals. Plenty of menu choices with great portions of salads to killer desserts at reasonable prices. Lots of fun for lunch while visitng the beach. Starting on the weekend brings live music with Reggae and World music during the day on Saturday and Sunday, with excepetions during football season on Sunday. Friday and Saturday nights brings Rock to Jazz at night.

Have a seat a few steps off a swath of perfect beach fronted by gorgeous blue sky and sea. Order a grouper sandwich--Frenchy's owns its own boats, docked in Clearwater Beach, so you know the fish is fresh. - CitySearch, Sara Kennedy - suggest change

A Must Go...Frequently
The total experience at Frenchy's Rockaway is excellent every time we visit...wouldn't change a thing.

It can be rather noisy at times but that's the ambiance...people having a great time.

Best time is always arriving before sunset and dining outside or in the bar area...awesome view!

Beautiful Sunsets
We just returned yesterday from Clearwater Beach, Florida. Great place to kick back and watch the sunset. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get a patio table (longer than the competion because the patio is smaller) but well worth it. Frenchys is more of a bar atmosphere then its competion but still nice. I only wish their live music would start an hour earlier and the wait wasn't so long. Desserts here are great.
