bad service, good food
We arrived for our 4:30 reservation and ended up setting our own table at 5:15. We spent 45 mins at the bar and were told we could not sit at any table there. Our 90 yr old had to stand while the tables were empty. the hostess was rude and indifferent. Food was good and its too bad as we would not go back. what happened to service in this industry?    [27 Dec 2006 11:04:40]

What happened with pleasing the customer?
This was the worst display of hospitality I have ever experienced. The reservation was for 16 people. How many parties of 16 to you tend to have?
The bar was empty upon arrival so we were told that we could sit in that area. No one ever specified exactly where.. tables were available, at least 4. When one of the very elderly men sat down in a chair, he was reprimanded that he could not sit there and to please wait out in lobby area. This area was so small and now people are starting to arrive for their 5:00 reservations. It was raining outside so there was no alternative. The party of 16 was later referred to as "that group".
Very unprofessional. The food was OK. Nothing worth returning for with that kind of service. There are so many other places where they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Why put yourself thru an experience close to this one ? NEVER AGAIN, NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!!    [01 Feb 2007 13:50:18]

I ordered chicken marsala. It was excellent. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and dessert, tiramisu, was divine. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Best I have had since I left Manhattan. First class.
