Best Bagels in Broward County!
Every Sunday morning we go to Alan's for breakfast. The key to a good breakfast at Alan's is go early, by 9am there is at least a 20 minute wait for a table.

We have a few favorites, our young kids love the french toast but the portions are a little small, we usually order an extra to split between them. The older kids skip the kids menu for the 2 egg special - 2 eggs, potatoes and a bagel for under $3.00. My favorite is the L.E.O. - Lox, Eggs and Onions for the un-initiated - this dish sometimes gets watery but never at Alan's. My husband always gets an omlette - they are very large and loaded with all types of fillings plus potatoes and a bagel.

Even if you don't have time to stop and eat, pop in for a dozen bagels. They sell so many that they are usually still warm from the oven. They are by far the best bagels in Broward County.    [30 Mar 2001 19:53:51]

Always love this place!
I started going here in high school, and my friends and I are happy it's still in business. They have the best, freshest bagels and a yummy menu of breakfast items.
Watch out for a wait, the other poster here was right about getting there early, and still expect about a 20 minute wait, unless it's really early or closer to lunchtime.
I always get something different, but it's always fresh and good - this is real food, homemade taste and freshness is always present.
Sometimes the staff is not always the friendliest, but I think that's due to the hordes of customers that are always there, always hungry! Quick table turnover due to the lines of people waiting for a seat, so if you are looking for a place to sit for an hour, this is not it!    [23 Sep 2002 04:30:28]

I'm only a visitor...
I only visit Florida about twice a year, but when I do, I always stop by Bageland. They have the best corn muffins you could possibly imagine. I wish we had a Bageland where I live, because if we did, I would get a corn muffin everyday.
