Best Native Fish!
On every trip to the Bradenton, Florida area, my wife and I make a point to have at least one dinner at the Seafood Shack in Cortez. The Seafood Shack has a varied menu but they are best known for their native fish dishes like red snapper and grouper.

Broiled, fried, blackened, any way you like it the taste is absolutely fantastic - and why not - all native fish they serve is merely hours old. You see, the Seafood Shack is built over the water and the native fish are brought right to their dock that same day.

Seafood Shack Rocks!
The Seafood Shack is our favourite restaurant in the Bradenton area. We have had most of the dishes on the menu, and all were found to be above board. The service is excellent, and personal as well.
Have Nick the bartender make you a strawberry daiquiri or rumrunner with a 151 floater.
Dine, and relax outside, our favourite)where a lovely marina scene, and passing boats are a pleasant addition to your meal, or relaxation time.
Yes, there is a marina there. Nice, quiet, and our boat is tied there .
The food is great, staff capable, the bar excellent, the atmosphere, and ambience; very comfortable.

The blackened grouper is the BEST!

Closed
Seafood Shack is closed till maybe October
or November.It may reopen then if it has not been sold. So try back in Oct 2008.
