Great backwater spot
They have turned this former unappealing spot into a gem. Our food was great, the complimentary chowder was terrific. All of our food was cooked to order. The server could not have been better. This is the spot to take visitors. I hope they open the back room as it has the best view, very primitive and wild. The menu is very extensive, especially in the seafood area. Great food and great service
We were visiting Crystal River from Miami. We were a little apprehensive about going to a restaurant in a far distance in other words "in the neck of the woods". However, once we got there and were greeted by our server, we knew we had made a great choice. As a matter of fact, the food could've been horrible, and we would have been happy, because the service was exceptional. The food was great though, the atmosphere was great and we were elated about the service. We couldn't ask for anything more. I loved this place as the employees were very accommodating, and offered worthy suggestions on what to order. Great place, and the prices were great too!
