Great food and a wonderful experience
We are visiting from Miami and we had a wonderful experience. Trust me we go out a lot, and we know good, fresh food. The server was great and had a wonderful personality. She offered lots of suggestions and didn't seem to mind that we were African Americans like many of these little places in Crystal River. CRACKERS SUCKS!!!!
I was eating there with my family and during my dining experence I saw a huge rat run from the frount bar to the kitchen!!! Needless to say we left right after that. The food was terrible and the our server was the only thing that was right. The place smelled and was very dirty. They dont use trays to bring your food so you will have whatever is all over the servers. The "plate/baskit" whatever you want to call it was dripping with water and falling apart. I had mussels for an app. and they tasted like they had been out for a week nothing was good. All the food we had there was terrible, spoiled and not fresh. Our server was wonderful and she did everything in her power to try to make things right and make us feel better, which I might add did not happen because of the manager. Speaking of which we heard her yelling at her employees including our server. We will never go back to that TERRIBLE place and I recommend you don't either. I will be calling the heath department on them in hopes that no one will have to endure that place!    [28 May 2007 07:44:54]

Wonderful Fried Clams
I ate there earlier this week, and while the service provided by a brand-new waitress wasn't very good and the drinks took forever, the clams were the best I've ever had. Don't order onion rings.

Terrible
I have to say that this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The service was terrible. After a 45 minute wait because I was told the kitchen couldn't keep up(half of the tables in the place were empty) we were seated to sloppy service. The appetizer dishes were never cleared from our table and I got a piece of the most rotten or soured fried fish I have ever had. I had to ask for my money back and even then the manager or waitress would not clear the bad food from the table. The whole party I was with was disgusted. I will never eat there again!! ordered a beef/cheese sandwich. it came with a small amount of beef and the cheese still had the paper on it. when we told the watress about it, she went back to the kitchen a returned with the bill and we were told that there will not be an extra charge for the paper. the rest of our party (6) was not happy with their meals either. will not return or recomend.
