Bad food, worse service
I ordered a grouper reuben. It was awful. Frozen fried fish (Grouper?) topped with cold cole slaw instead of sauerkraut.
When I questioned server, PM manager told me that is the way a grouper reuben is made and if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else.

Very rude, not accommodating at all. Hubby's grouper sandwich was no better.    [22 Mar 2007 18:51:35]

Great Location, Terrible Staff
We had a group (18), made reservation three weeks in advance, called the day before to confirm, and 30 minutes before arrival. In six years of touring Florida and eating at dozens of restaurants, this was the worst. The waitress/manager was overwhelmed, half the food came out wrong or didn't come out at all. Every time we asked what was up, it was blamed on the cook, new staff or they were slammed (not true). Appeared to be kitchen/management problem but one that needs to be fixed for this place to survive. Hope it does, it's a nice spot but we won't be back. CREDIT CARD REQUIRED TO ORDER FOOD AT THE BAR..
I have been in the restaurant bar business
since 1986. Never have I ever been asked to give a credit card to order a beer and place a food order while sitting at the bar. This might have been understandable if the bar was busy. (We were the only two sitting at the bar.) There were two young ladies behind the bar, one took our beverage order then our food order. As she was placing the order in the computer she questioned us again on how we wanted our burgers, and what was on them. Then the second girl came up and asked if I would like another beer. I told her that would be great and as she served me she asked if I was paying cash or credit, I told her cash she then said that she would have to have a credit card to have a tab at the bar. I asked even if we have just ordered food? She told us yes even if we had placed a food order.
When the burgers arrived both were cooked incorrect.. SADDDD.. Very nice location.... Great view... Unless I hear of complete change of staff I will never return....    [07 Jul 2008 17:05:28]
