Great Italian Restaurant
We have had lunch at Romano's many times and each experience has been very satisfying. The portions have been generous and well prepared. Tasty but not over-spiced. This far exceeds the typical strip mall pizza/Italian restaurants that abound in this area.

The service has been attentive but not intrusive. We have had three different waitresses and all have serve us well.

This is a small, clean place with nice ambiance. They offer a good selection of wines by the bottle as well as house wine (Merlot, Chianti and Chardonnay) by the carafe.

Much better elsewhere...
I actually reserved this restaurant for my wedding rehearsal dinner. After being "assured" that we would be in a private setting we were seated in the middle of the dining room around other patrons all at separate tables. So therefore our entire party was scattered throughout the restaurant. After reserving this two months in advance and confirming the week before I was appalled that this could happen. The service was SLOW, and the owner was very unapologetic to my complaints. He had a "take it or leave it" attitude. The food although it is nice in presentation was cold in the middle and the waitress blamed it on the cook, but also shared the same take it or leave it attitude. There are so many other fantastic restaurants in Crystal River that I would recommend over this one.    [10 Dec 2007 11:49:22]

Will Never Go Back!
Came in one night with husband and ordered lasagna it was very cold, so I told the waitress who then got the owner and when he came out he started getting an attitude and was yelling at us. I was appalled and will never go back and neither will my friends!    [20 Jun 2008 00:09:10]
