Little Havana II
Restaurant has great service, Wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. They have authentically prepared Cuban cuisine. Their Little Havana Steak service with the Chimichurri sauce is the best of its kind. Best Cuban food in the Deerfield/Boca Raton area. You no longer have to travel to the Little Havana, Calle 8 in Miami to get good Cuban food.    [31 Oct 2003 11:34:06]

Come Hungry!!
We were brought by friends and thought that this would be an imitation of a "Calle Ocho" Miami eaterie.
WE WERE SURPRISED!!

The service was excellent despite the crowd. And they were very helpful in assisting the "beginners" in our group with their orders.

The food was prepared with just the right amount of spice although, for a couple at the table, there was a bit too much garlic on the plantain chips. Their loss!! ;-)

The pork chunks were crisp on the outside and tender juicy on the inside.

The lamb shank was succulent and smothered in a WONDERFUL sauce (that reheated very well the next day!) and everyone loved the beans and rice.

While the creole beef was tasty, it did not hold a candle to the shredded pork roast. They obviously know their pig!!

Since we are just visiting for a short time, I will not have time to find a dud on the menu. But I have a feeling that there isn't such a thing.    [26 Jan 2007 12:17:19]
