Great Steak

One of the best in Destin
Service was outstanding. Regardless of "dress" all folks were treated like royalty. Very attentive staff. Food was very good. Have been to many restaurants in Destin and consider this one as the top 1 or 2 on the list.    [06 Jul 2003 19:32:39]

Best Steak and Lobster I've Ever Eaten
First, one must wonder about those that don't give this restaurant a favorable review and leave their name as anonymous!

I'm so glad that the Hilton in San Destin is obviously prejudiced against motorcyclists as they did not allow my wife and I to enter their grounds to eat at their restaurant simply because I was on a Honda Goldwing GL1800.

Because of this, I was able to visit the Copper Grill. My wife and I split the 5 lb lobster and each tried to finish the cowboy steak, only to bring home doggie bags. Bar far, the steaks were the best that we have ever eaten in our many, many years of life! The lobster was equally as good even though you usually find 5lb lobsters tough. This lobster was perfect!
Our server, Nancy, was great! We all laughed and enjoyed the friendship at a good food establishment. No doubt when we are next in town, we'll eat there!    [10 Jul 2003 14:22:57]

The best cheesecake in the world!
We went there a couple of years ago and were so impressed that we went there a second time 2 days later! The cheesecake was literally the best I've ever had in my life! My friend said the same thing! Put it this way, we were struggling college students that were willing to max out or credit cards to eat there and order extra cheesecake to take home with us. Now that we are almost paid off, we're going back again...for the cheesecake! The manager and servers were great, they even tried to help us find a contact number to the cheesecake people in Italy, so we could order more, since we weren't from florida! A fabulous experience
On March 14th 2004 we dined at this fine establishment.

We had a party of 4 adults and two children. Our reservation was accepted and we were seated right away. The waiter could not have been more helpful with menu descriptions and choices.

The salads and side dishes were huge and very tasty. The steaks were varied and outstanding; And they were cooked to perfection.

Treated Very Badly!
I made reservations through opentable.com several weeks in advance. I assumed all the restaurants would be very busy during the 4th of July holiday. After we arrived, at our allotted time, we were shoved around in the reception area for about fifteen minutes before we were seated. Meanwhile, we witnessed the unorganized employees start to argue with each other. After we were seated, we met our server who screamed her suggestions to us and warned us not to be scared of her assistant when he arrived. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine and several other non-alcoholic drinks while we looked over the menu. When we started to order, my sister and my mother were told that they had to order an entree. My mother has a limited diet of foods she can eat due to health issues and my sister has recently gone through a surgery that limits her intake of food. The server stated that if not all five of us were prepared to order an entree we would need to finish our drinks and leave. She also stated that their policy during peak season was to serve only those parties that ordered an entrée for each person. We asked to speak to the manager, who never appeared at our table.
The wine and food we had ordered would have cost well over $300 so I was at a loss as to what had just happened. The patrons who were dining behind us were mortified. The gentleman seated there told us not to leave that he would speak with someone. However, he was spoken to badly, and took his family and left apologizing profusely to us, telling us we had been treated horribly.

I was shocked to be treated in such a manner. I have been in much nicer restaurants than this one and have always been treated with dignity and respect. I would never recommend this restaurant for any occasion.    [06 Jul 2004 12:27:03]

BEST STEAK ANYWHERE PERIOD.
OUR FAMILY HAS VISITED COPPER GRILL 4 TIMES IN THE TWO TIMES WE HAVE STAYED IN DESTIN SINCE THEY OPENED. EVERYTIME WE HAVE HAD IMPECCABLE SERVICE AND THE BEST STEAK EVER. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!

Outstanding on every level!
My wife and I showed-up on a Saturday night, without a reservation, we were welcomed warmly, shown a seat at the bar and given one of their huge booths.
