I dined at this restaurant while vacationing in Dunedin, Florida. They have an exquisite menu and a very friendly staff. They also have an outside cafe with a different menu and is a very comfortable casual atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Dunedin, Florida. The waterfront views are amazing!    []

Bon Appetit Dunedin
What a water view. Beautiful Sunsets. I got married at Bon Appetit Restaurant and the raves from my guest are never ending. The service, details and "Nancy" {Wedding Rep} was a delight and so professional. She helped me plan my wedding with very little stress due to the fact that I planned my wedding in another state.

Fantastic Restaurant and Reception
I just recently hosted a 50th wedding reception at the Bon Appetit in Dunedin for my parents and cannot tell you what a pleasure it was to work with Tracy Toombs and Peter. It was a surprise party for with guests from around the globe and everyone expressed their delight in the staff, food, views and occassion.

It was a day to remember always.

Bon Appetit
Bon Appetit has a wonderful location but the food is mediocre and the service is inconsistent. On two occasions the rack of lamb I ordered medium rare showed up almost well. A shrimp cocktail contained rubbery shrimp.

I've had good service and careless service on different visits. Also, even though the view is fine through the shades that help prevent the sun from blinding you while dining just prior to sunset, the management insists on raising them at some point. I watched as the owner berated a customer who asked not to have them raised because of an eye problem.    [26 Sep 2005 12:43:34]

Not friendly - no customer service
Food was good, waitstaff good - however...Had a bridal shower for my best friend here and was slapped with a bill that we weren't expecting - we were charged additional for iced beverages even though they were on our "set fee" menu that was pre-negotiated. We questioned the bill and the catering manager rudely told us there was nothing she WOULD do about it and unless we could produce our contract for her to review we needed to pay up right away. Then she (Luanne) proceeded to approach the bride and ask her what we (the hostesses) were going to do to pay the bill! OMG!! While we were getting our payment together, the catering manager then stood with the waitstaff gossiping on what our situation was, pointing and sneering our direction. Mind you, we were more than able to pay the bill, however there was definitely an air of superiority being cast our way - like we were unable to pay. Not the case, we just wanted to pay the negotiated amount plus gratuity. OUR SERVICE BY OUR WAITRESS WAS WONDERFUL HOWEVER (wanted to point that out...).

However, I will never visit this restaurant again nor recommend it to anyone    [02 Apr 2008 15:38:18]
