If you want authentic Irish food, music and atmosphere, this is the place. I've learned a lot about Ireland and Scotland just by talking with the customers and servers. You'll see lots of kilts here. I live in the little town of Dunedin, so I go there often.    [22 Dec 2002 14:00:35]

We love it!
We have been frequenting Flanagans for several years now, and we thoroughly enjoy it. We go for the great service and live entertainment. The food is also excellent.    [11 Jan 2003 16:57:16]

great friendly place

Found this place with my girlfriend.
Flanagans is pretty authentic for an Irish pub, minus all of the front windows bringing in sunshine. But the food is great, the service is friendly, and the Guinness pours like black nectar down any wanting throat.
And they have Smithwick's Ale, which I've never ever seen in the States before. Delicious!

The only downside I noticed is that Flanagan's pints aren't the 20oz Imperial, just the regular 16oz. Well, the price is right, so I think we've made this a must stop for at least once a week. Let's see if my girlfriend thinks the same.    [08 Mar 2005 21:23:25]
