The Ivy House is our favorite place to go when "the girls" want a lunch out. The food is all home made and super good. Try the cruncy chicken and milk cake. Their prime rib is great too. [06 Jul 2003 23:19:16]

Take your Mom! The food is nicely presented and the flavor is great. This is a family owned and operated place. The selection is limited but with what they offer you should have no trouble finding something delicious to eat. I'd drive 50 miles out of my way to eat there if I had to. Lots of southern charm here. Have been three times so far and loved everthing that has been served. Can be a bit of a wait on Fridays at lunch time...but it's worth it. [08 Jul 2003 02:28:54]

Mac & cheese They have the best macaroni and cheese I have ever eaten. It comes with the crispy chicken, which is wonderful. [05 Mar 2004 13:01:22]

Lovely place Christmas decorations are unique in each of 5 rooms. The dinners were presented very nicely. Food was delicious but veggies could have been hotter. Overall a most enjoyable evening and we plan to go back soon. :-) [10 Dec 2005 22:42:36]

People line up and I don't know why. It's ok, but nothing I want to stand in line for. Can't get a glass of wine with dinner, which you need by the time you've waited for 40 minutes to an hour. I just don't get the big deal [09 Apr 2007 23:38:43]

Hospitality, Good Food, and Good Friends My husband and I had driven 25 miles to eat at the Ivy House. They had already closed, but said we could eat the special (Crunchy Chicken) providing they had some left. The hostess came back from the kitchen to announce they did have some left and we were welcome to stay and eat. We took them up on that -- after all the Crunchy Chicken is what everyone would die for. They even found a waitress willing to wait on us so we could eat on the porch. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. It's one of our favorite places to eat and their deserts are scrumptous for those with a sweet tooth. If you haven't ate there, you don't know what you are missing. [09 Jun 2007 07:34:14]

Best place in town The Ivy House is the best place to eat in Williston. My favorits are the fried shrimp with the baked potatoe with cheese sauce and the popiseed chicken with the mac/cheese,the best. I'd rather eat here than drive to Ocala or Gainesville. Plus their deserts are wonderful. [19 Aug 2007 22:34:41]

MMMMGood! When I want to do something extra special with special friends or my mom/sisters, this is where we come. I can only speak very highly of the Crunchy Chicken" I always want to try a different dish but I remember how wonderful the chicken dinner is, I always order that again (I can't imagine anything tasting better than that)
Ivy House/Staff Thank you for being a beautiful blessing to me and my guest(s) each visit with you. [08 Jun 2008 08:34:23]
