BAD The lighting and the decorations were nice. The waiters were annoying, talking too much, asking too many questions and would not leave us alone. The plates were not clean, there were pieces of dried food stuck to it and couple of pieces of old rice stuck on the bottom, the waiter went to get the manager and took off the wanton soup off the bill. Just to let you know this is not authentic Chinese cuisine, food tasted like a frozen dinner with little Chinese ingredients. It's too fatty and salty but I guess most westerners grew up eating McDonald's and hot dogs so this is what they are use to. What makes a great Asian dish is the rice, I know this because I am Asian, and grew up in an Asian home. The rice at PF Chang tasted like Uncle Ben's rice or minute rice, it was dry, cold, clumpy, hard and tasted like it was sitting there for few hours. I asked for a new fresher bowl of rice, a few minutes later the manager showed up again asking what the problem was, except this time he as little rude and sounded annoyed. Ingredients in PF Chang does not come close to the real thing, go to a Chinatown in a city nearby if you want real Chinese food. [13 Mar 2007 05:33:35]

Well Worth the Wait P. F. Chang's off of Mansell Rd. in Alpharetta was great: Food, service, wait for seating, everything.
We arrived at P. F. Chang's craving Chinese and discovered over an hour wait. Luckily they used a system by Queuent that called us on our mobile phones when seating was available. So even though we had to wait an hour, we were able to get our movie tickets and shop Barnes and Nobel while we waited. When we were called, we were at the other end of the mall but the system let us delay by 15 minutes. When we returned to P. F. Chang's, they sat us at the very next table.
For being on an hour wait, the restaurant didn't seem that crowded but all the tables were full and everything was very smooth and easy to navigate. The server greeted us at our table and was very professional. We ordered drinks while we looked over a very well designed menu. The drinks were served within a few minutes and we ordered the Lettuce Wraps - A great appetizer and now one of my favorites.
I ordered the Singapore Street Noodles. This is usually one of my benchmarks for Chinese cuisine because of the simplicity of the dish yet ease for something to go wrong. It was excellent, not too gingery, noodles not over done, and vegetables were crisp.
All in all, a great casual night out for my wife and I. Highly recommended for a dinner + movie night. And being able to walk around instead of standing in a crowded restaurant waiting for a table, really made the evening. [09 Jul 2007 13:28:36]

Chinese Bistro Atmosphere Great food and service. Upscale Chinese food and atmosphere. They off regional Chinese dishes and change them often in addition to offering the regular menu. You will find traditional items as well as unique and well described dishes. FYI- The soups for 2 people are really enough to feed a table for 4. You can also get brown or white rice with your entrees which is a nice touch. I go there whenever I get a chance, but remember to make reservations unless eating at an off hour...otherwise plan to wait a very long time for a table. [03 Aug 2007 13:14:18]
