Great Soup And Salad Bar
Captian Joe's is a great place to go for Seafood for sure but don't underestimate their salad bar. Everything from traditional salad ingredients to crab and tuna salads is nice. When you're all done with your meal try their dessert called "Better than Sex". If you think I'm kidding about the name just ask one of the veteran waitstaff. :-)    [13 Jan 2001 18:58:40]

sexy staff
They have a great selection of fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The steaks are cooked to order with a variety of sides such as the baked potato, fries, wonderful onion rings, and sweet potato with cinnamon butter. the salad bar is awesome, and if a favored dish is unavailable just ask one of the very attractive waitresses to get you whatever you need! Great Staff and Food With Lots of Smiles
We took the whole family. The waitress was so great with the kids. She helped us get exactly what we wanted and it was great food. We all know that older members of our family are hard to deal with but the great waitress handled them with a smile too. What a great place to eat and feel welcome. Hats off to the great soup, salad and desert bar that was included with our meal for free. Way to go Captain Joe and staff! FOOD WAS REALLY BAD
CAME FROM JACKSONVILLE FLA TO SEE MY FAMILY IN BRUNSWICK GA AND THEY WANTED TO GO TO CAPTAIN JOES. ON 17 THE SERVICE WAS OK BUT THE FOOD WAS JUST BAD. THE SOUP WAS COLD, THE FOOD WAS NOT PREPARED RIGHT, THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SILVERWARE ON THE TABLE. THE BEST THING THAT THEY HAD WAS THE SALAD BAR. I DON'T THINK THAT I WILL BE BACK ANY TIME SOON. If you want great seafood, go to Captain Joe's. The platters are awesome.

Bad FOOD & BAD Management
kWe had an anniversary party for my Aunt and Uncle which should have been a special moment; it was their 50th wedding anniversary. They had one waitress for more than 50 people. All the orders were wrong or mixed up, I myself was asked (with her pad in her hand) what would I have, I had already gave my order just as everyone else. I had been to the salad bar and waited and wait and watched as the waitress could not figure out where any of the wrong orders went, what a nightmare, and food was frozen shrimp they claim it is fresh. For the prices you pay you would think you would get the real thing.
