Great Italian Food and huge portions We have eaten here often throughout the years. I had my husband's last surprise birthday party here, just to introduce more people to the restaurant. I am Italian and the food is genuine and fresh. The service is impeccable. It is in a strip mall, but once inside, it is intimate and quiet. [02 Jun 2005 17:33:43]

Awesome This is a wonderful Italian restaurant. It doesn't have the ambiance of Littly Italy NY, but you'll swear the food is just as good. [02 Jul 2005 16:14:47]

Best Italian in Atlanta This small strip center restaurant is awesome. Rate it exceptional in all categories except ambiance which could be improved upon. However, you will find relaxing music and candlelit tables. The food is fantastic.

Mostly good but... I went to Giovonni's with big expecatations after reading the reviews and thinking the food was as good as going to Little Italy. Being a native New Yorker I have to say, sorry, doesn't compare! Ambience isnt so great. Waitress with long black hair was very friendly and good service. The salad and garlic rolls were great. My veal parm. was just mushy. The breading underneath just peeled off and for some reason was soggyish. I have had much much better at many places. My husband had the sausage and peppers with tortollini and he enjoyed that. The lasagna was ok. They do give big portions. I need to go back just to see if I can have better luck next time and order something different. If it wasnt for the soggy breading on the veal parm it would have been good. [05 Apr 2007 11:18:58]

best Italian seafood I've ever had!!! Try the specialty items. They are wonderful. Seasoning out of this world. Have never found any other restaurant that can touch their seafood specialities. They are in a class by themselves. Some of the other dishes are good, but the seafood specialities are spectacular. [29 Sep 2007 16:51:04]

DON'T MISS THIS WONDERFUL RESTAURANT OF ITALY IN EAST COBB!!!!!!!!!!!1 It is the BEST Italian since we moved to GA in 1981. Every thing that we tried (Big Family) was wonderful! Coming from California where fine dining is available, we have had a hard time finding authentic Italian Restaurants. WE LOVE FOR OUR FAMILY OF 14 TO MEET THERE FOR DINNER! Thank you Gioivanni's!!!!!!!!!!! [12 Oct 2007 19:46:51]
