Crowded
Fairly generic Italian food. They make a big deal of it being Sicilian -- but when was the last time you encountered a cream sauce in Sicily?

Overflow seating is outside, facing the parking lot. Gimmie a break!

Caffe Notte Italian Restaurant: Hardly Sicilian
I have relatives living in Italy who I occasionally visit, whenever I have the time and money. And I when I do visit them, I usually take the opportunity to travel throughout Italy, including Sicily. I've been to Sicily on a couple occassions, and I have to say that the food at Caffe Notte come no where close to traditional/authentic Sicilian cooking. I my opinion there's nothing fabulous nor Sicilian about Caffe Notte's cooking. From my experience, the food you there is basically the kind that you'll expect at a typical non authentic Italian restaurant such as Bravo's in Pearl City or Assaggio's in Millilani and Ala Moana shopping Center.    [20 Dec 2003 23:56:49]

Cafe Notte - A Bit Biased
Living on the North shore of Oahu and eating out most of the time, I found Cafe Notte to be delicious every time. The unusual appetizers and freshly baked bread complimented any main meal I picked. I always came away happy and like I've eaten well, not too much. As far as being authentic, I've not been to Sicily yet, so I'll rate that then.    [12 Dec 2004 01:15:04]
