The Best Pizza on Moloka'i OK, so it's the only pizza place on Moloka'i, but who's counting? Sean and gang go out of their way to create wonderful combination pizza's named for each of the main Hawaiian islands. Plus there are the traditional select-your-own toppings. In addition to pizza, they serve one of the largest burgers I've ever seen (don't try to eat a whole one yourself), and many hot dinners. Lunch sandwiches are good, especially the pocket sandwiches made with a bread created from their pizza dough. My favorite is the tuna pocket sandwich -- ask them to warm it up so that the cheese melts (remind them to take the lettuce and tomato off first). My absolute favorite item on their menu is BREAKFAST PIZZA. Yup, you heard me. Once upon a time it was only available during breakfast hours (or by special request at other times by those of us "in the know"). It's popularity has now bumped up it's status so it's a regular feature on the menu. Starting with a regular crust, it's topped with crumbled scrambled egg, real crumbled bacon, breakfast sausage, and three types of melted cheeses. No sauce for this treat. It's on any time of the day! Cash or local checks only -- no credit cards accepted at this time (5/2003). [14 May 2003 15:54:00]

Had the fresh mahimahi dinner.... it was surprisingly good, in fact it was the best meal we had at any of the restaurants on the island. Service was friendly and unrushed and the place was clean! [29 Aug 2003 16:26:38]

Food and service is terrible; we waited over an hour for our two orders. and when it came, we were not impressed. our meatball sub was limp and bland and came with regular ruffles potato chips rather than the maui chips the menu stated. Our small classic white pizza skimped on the white sauce and tasted grainy, like sand granules had fallen into the dough. Not tasty or friendly at all. [19 Mar 2006 19:34:09]
