Always delicious I can always count on this restaurant to have great food and great service. The food is always hot and fresh. The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is small, but nicely lit with candles and has beautiful artwork hanging on the walls.
As I said, it is a very small restaurant, so if you are bringing more than 2-3 people, I would make a reservation. If you don't, you can wait at the nearby bookstore to pass time because therre is no waiting area.
If you like Thai food, or would like to try it, I would definitely recommend Phuket Thai in Mililani. [26 Feb 2004 12:58:12]

The Best Phuket Thai is my hands down favorite restaurant. If I were given a choice of any place in the world to eat, I would head to Mililani.
The food is delicious, the service is very good, and the decore is quite pleasant for a small space in a shopping center. The prices are lower than in other Thai restaurants, but the food is much better.
They have a nice selection of vegetarian dishes, and are willing to substitute when they can.
Well worth the trip to Mililani. [01 Sep 2005 03:51:14]

Just Like Mom used to make it!! Phuket Thai Restaurant is one of the Best Thai Restaurants I have eaten at, and that says alot because I'm half Thai!! The food is so authentic, always hot, always fresh!! If your bringing a group of people, have everyone order one dish and share! That is the best way on deciding what you like best because you'll be back, trust me!!! Enjoy!! [04 Jan 2006 18:14:03]

Phuket Restaurant, Mililani Hawaii Although food was good and served fast, Not a pleasant overall dining. Service was POOR!!!!
Had dinner reservation there last Thurs, March 24: Had to wait awhile at the door (cramped area) before someone seated us. (There was a sign...come in, please wait to be seated). The waiting area was cramped, double doors kept opening up for people coming in/out -should have one door for EXIT and another for ENTER to avoid "traffic" and bumping onto waiting-to-be- seated guests.
When finally seated, waited for awhile again for the waitress to serve us. When she finally came, a not so-friendly type, hardly smiled (rough day?) gave us the menu book and asked if we were ready to order. There was no....."hello....my name is..... I'll be your waitress for the day.....our specials today, are..." She only came once to ask us if everything was okay. Same un-smiling service from others, i.e. water waiters. Are they in some kind of silent protest? Gave us the impression the owners were not treating their workers well. After dinner, we almost didn't want to leave a tip to show our dissatisfaction! Your restaurant needs to work on SERVICE!!!! [26 Mar 2006 12:23:04]

Very dissapointed with management & staff On 12/11/06, at 3:55pm, I called to make a take out order. The girl said can I please put you on hold? I said yes. 7 minutes and 33 seconds later, I was standing in the front of the restaurant that had 6 people inside. Two each sitting at the 3 tables, on the left as you enter the door. The person who put me on hold, later identified as the restaurant manager, Robbi was not sincere when she attempted to apologize. She just gave me this flippant look, like oh another one I have to deal with. She said she was busy helping other customers? I told her it's not that busy and had 3 of them working? Am I not a customer too? When I asked for the owner info to contact, she said that can't be done and that they will back her up all the way. I told her they lost a customer and she said fine. In other words, WHATEVERS! Fine, after all the clients and friends I've referred there. (gave them business) Fine, after all the times I've eaten there, in and take out. (gave them business) Fine, that type of incident happen to me more than once. So how many customers had that happend to? Her owners would back her up even if she was wrong. She did not care how I felt, that I was on hold for that duration. I guess they feel what is losing one person when they have other customers? Robbi could care less that she and the Phuket Thai Restaurant owners lost me as a customer. So all the people I know and all the future people that I meet from around the world, I surely will not send them there or at their McCully Restaurant. So much for good food and really bad customer service! [12 Dec 2006 00:09:04]

Phuket Restaurant, Mililani Hawaii My first time trying Thai food and it was GREAT. The service and food was extremely good. They were very busy, every table was occupied. We did not have to wait for someone to take our order and the food came very quickly. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try Thai food. Phuket Thai I have enjoyed dining at Phuket Thai for over 10 years. However each restaurant is not at all equal. The Kapiolani restaurant is far superior to most thai restaurants in outstanding taste, surprising value, and provides service and atmosphere of a semi refined experience perfect for special occaisions yet unpretentious and well priced to be a daily dine as well. However the Mililani restaurant drops the bar a bit in every category. It is a good restaurant, but no competition to their sister store on Kapiolani. Maybe this review will help? I would personally rate the Kapiolani a perfect five of five of my modest expectaions, and the Mililani a 3.5 in comparison. Great Job Kapiolani, and I would like to see Millilani be what it can and should be. [28 Dec 2007 19:16:18]

Lost my order I had gone to Phuket Thai one time a little after lunch and the service was great and fast. After that, my husband, myself, and another couple decided to make a take out order. I went to go pick up the order (which they said would take 20 minutes) I got there 30 minutes after my call and the hostess told me to hold on and walked in the back. I noticed there were 3 other groups waiting for to go orders also. When the hostess came back out she said that it would be about 10 more minutes for one of the dishes. In that 10 minutes they ended up switching two other peoples orders. Opening them up and still gave them to the wrong people. Time line for my order...40 minutes and counting. I walk back up to the hostess once she has fixed that mess and ask her about my order. She then looks at me as if she has never seen me before as she searches the tickets. She goes back in the back again and comes back out with no food. 50 minutes and still no food. She then informs me that they lost my order and she doesn't know what happened. She asked me what I ordered, for the 3rd time and tries to find the ticket, no joy. I told her nevermind I don't want to wait any longer. She refunded my money and I left. So after an hour total of wait time I left with no food. I then got a call on my phone as I was waiting outside figuring out where to eat telling me that they had found my food. So I walk back in and asked for a discount on my meal that had been 'lost' in their kitchen (they told me the cook didn't label it). She told me they could give me 10%. 10% off a meal that was a total of an hour and 15 minutes late, probably shoved in some corner, and most likely really cold by now. Most places would give your meal to you complimentary. I said no thanks. Customer service is not very good at all, unfortunately when you get your food, it is pretty good. [01 Feb 2008 21:20:40]

Regulars. As regulars to Phuket Thai in Mililani, my husband and I have always enjoyed our experience at this restaurant.
While the entrance is a bit cramped, as well as the table area as a whole, the food makes up for it. My husband and I have tried quite a few dishes and have enjoyed each one.
The waiters/waitresses are always very friendly and helpful (though sometimes they seem short on help and in a rush -- to be expected with a small sized restaurant with such popular food), which also encourages us to keep coming back.
I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys spicy dishes with interesting and delicious flavor combinations. [17 May 2008 23:14:33]
