You have not had cake until you have tried Lola Lovejoy's delicious cakes. She specializes in wedding cakes, but my family has bought all of our birthday cakes there for years. Lovejoy's offers the finest service, the greatest cakes with the most wonderful detail on each and every one. They are not your "last minute" shop, they plan and properly prepare for your event. Strawberry, strawberry & vanilla????
Lola created a magnificent cake for our wedding, layering strawberry cake, strawberry jelly-like filling, and vanilla cake. It was the hit at our wedding - even people who said they never eat cake at wedding receptions ate this cake because they heard from other guests that it was SO amazing! Lovejoy's Let Me Down
I've ordered birthday cakes from Lovejoy's for many years. Suddenly this week when we called to place an order, they told us that they are too busy with graduation and wedding cakes in May-June and cannot accept our order. We were told we needed to order in Jan. I can understand them telling me that they could make it for me this year, and that I'd need to order early in the future. But to tell good, loyal customers not to bother them with individual birthday cakes b/c they're too busy--even though it's never been a problem before--is too much. I doubt I'll ever go back--and I'll be sharing this info with others. Sorry Lola, you've been good to work with prior to this.    [04 May 2007 15:29:57]
