Shhhh! It's a secret!! : )
Hey, as the only "non-seafood eater" in the family, I've made many a trip to Bluff Lake. Fortunately, the fried chicken is to die for! If you're looking for frou-frou, fancy-schmancy dining, look elsewhere, but if you just want good food, this is the place!!    [24 Jan 2002 10:51:42]

Catfish that is unbeatable
Am a catfish lover...found the best ever at Bluff Lake. Hot crispy and tender and perfect inside. Stay away so I don't have to wait in line so long. A "MUST" place to eat.    [13 Jan 2003 21:33:51]

Saturday Night Special Exceptional
Any night you choose to go to Bluff Lake you will find the special is exceptional but my personal favorite is the haddock on Saturday night; the sauce is to die for. I am not a fish-lover but I have never had a bad catfish or haddock meal at Bluff Lake. I wish it had remained a secret so the wait was not so long. No reservations are accepted so be prepared for at least an hour wait and consider yourself lucky if it is less. I remember the first time my husband took me there, about 25 years ago, I thought he was taking we literally for a ride when we drove through a farm-yard. We live in the area and don't go as often as we would like because of the wait. If there are just 2 of you, the wait sometimes is not so long. Large groups do come but sometimes have to split up depending on the night. Try it, you'll love it!!    [22 Dec 2004 13:02:38]

Unbelievable
This place has the best catfish I've ever had. I've eaten at many many many fish places and this one definitely takes the cake.    [23 Feb 2007 17:11:09]
