Excellent Food, Pitiful Service
Pitiful service ruined what could have been a great dining experience, but we obviously had a new or poorly trained waiter: refused to split checks by couple even though this had been specified with reservations - had to be "forced", the waiter or bar could not get drinks right, forced to order one course at a time rather than ordering all at once, had to ask for more water and then waiter only filled the person's glass who asked even though all were low or empty, very slow service, dishes were not removed from table promptly, brought 5 coffees but only one cream, I'll stop now. So many service shortcomings that they ruined the meal. All couples in group dine at various upscale restaurants several times a week.    [23 Feb 2008 23:44:39]
