The Melting Pot, a national chain, provides a unique, upscale and intimate dining experience with its assortment of fondue, cooked at the table by the guests. It is the perfect location for a romantic evening, corporate dinner party or friendly gathering. The Melting Pot features cheese fondus, lobster, filet mignon, and shrinp in a quiet, intimate atmosphere. Chocolate fondue desserts are a specialty, served with fruits and cakes for dipping. This chain, based in Tampa, FL, has 64 restaurants around the country.

Amazing Experience
The Melting Pot in Baton Rouge gave us the best experience we have EVER had in a restaurant. The service was unparalleled, the ambiance was perfect and the food was amazing.    [01 Sep 2003 14:53:44]

Good food, social experience
We have eaten at The Melting Pot several times over the last few years. The food is high quality. If you have never been, take the server's recommendations. For a couple, you can expect to spend at least $50. Plan on at least 2 hours. This is a fondue restaurant, you have a lot of time to chat and visit with your guests. This is definately a social experience. The service is usually very good, though I have had one bad server, which made the meal less than acceptable. Seating is private and comfortable. This is a good, romantic place to take your honey. Suggestion: Plan a movie at the theater a block away after your meal. Makes for a great evening.    [20 Feb 2005 22:17:10]

Great atmosphere, food mediocre

Lots of Fun with the family
