Beautiful Views and Good Food
We stayed in Harwichport last weekend and at the suggestion of our b&b host, went to the Ocean House. What a beautiful view! The restaurant overlooks Nantucket Sound...absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset! We sat in the bar, which was noisy, but enjoyable in spite of that. Food was good...we ate lite, ceasar salads & gourmet pizzas; service was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant & will go back next time I am on the Cape to sample some more of the menu.    [21 Jul 2003 19:25:02]

Affordable Dining in the Lounge
The food here is wonderful; however, the prices between eating in the dining room and in the bar/lounge vary quite a bit. We have tried both and we are quite happy with ordering several appetizers, including their small gourmet pizzas. This is not a way to get a cheap dinner but not as extravagant as the final bill in the dining room. There is a lively, fun atmosphere in the lounge versus the sedate dining room. Dress is country club casual and many men even wear just polo shirts and shorts with deck shoes. Give it a try.    [27 Apr 2005 12:14:33]
