Good Food, Mean Owner The food was very good with big portions, but the owner was very mean to his help. He yelled and screamed at waitresses and busboys in front of customers. [15 Jul 2002 10:07:43]

I Work There It really is a great restaurant. The food is terrific. The people that work there are great. But the owner is very mean. [30 Jul 2003 13:00:21]

Awesome Food The food is really good. It's decently priced, but it's not the most upscale place you've ever been. [19 Oct 2003 10:10:53]

Great Food I travel a long ways to get back to Dracut where I grew up. Every time I'm home I make sure I visit Scola's. My only problem is trying to decide which delicious dish to order. [12 Nov 2003 10:44:16]

Great Food Huge portions of great food. I only wish I had saved room for dessert. I can't wait to go back. [10 Feb 2004 15:16:52]

Great Food, Wonderful Owners I work there too and am proud of it. The food is amazing and the owner and family are the hardest working people I have ever met. That's why I've been there for over 10 years. [08 Mar 2004 16:43:08]

Terrible This was the worst meal I have ever had. Tonight was to be a special night for my family. Everything was wrong with this place. No table setting for all of us for the first 20 minutes. Poor waiter service. I would still be waiting for my water now if I didn't remind him at least 5 times. Then, the water glass had lipstick marks all over it.
The appetizers were small and cold. Who ever ate a cold stuffed mushroom? The salads were wilted and the dressing had no taste. The meals, when they came, were wrong. My meal was cold. Two in my party did not even get what they ordered. Instead, we had to wait another 10 minutes to correct the waiter's mistake. By then everything was even colder than when it was first brought out.
My wife is still waiting for the answer to a question she asked the waiter three hours ago. Finally, I do not want to be called "you guys" by anyone, let alone a waiter in a lousy restaurant. [13 Mar 2004 20:59:19]

Wonderful It's the best food for the price. The quality isn't good, but I recommend telling them you like your food hot because it's always cold and you have to send it back. The waiting staff isn't prompt, my family and I waited a good 5 minutes to be seated.
Think hard about going there! [14 May 2004 17:02:29]

Good, Good Food This is the kind of small family-run Italian restaurant that I love to find. I used to live in Rochester, NY and there were a lot of restaurants like this. I now live in Plano, TX and it is primarily chain restaurants. The food is very good, the portions huge, and the wait staff friendly. I will go here every time I am in the area. My Second Family I work at Scola's and everyday I can't wait to work. My co-workers are friendly and the food is terrific I might add. We tell jokes and stories after the night is over and we would support each other when they are going through a rough night. Customers complained but they don't realize that we are a busy restaurant and we are trying the best of our abilities to help serve a delicious meal to them. Conclusion, I lub my job. :) [08 Dec 2004 09:15:39]
