My wife and I ate at this establishment Wednesday night and I really would like to comment on the incredible service we received. Our server, Colleen, was courteous and attentive, making our dining experience tops. The food was delicious and timely, drinks amazing, and service excellent. Well done, we will certainly be back. Cozy Atmosphere Food is consistently excellent. Great selection of liquor and beers. Worth the wait to be seated. [20 Jan 2005 16:20:53]

Good Food, Great Drinks Amazing drinks, food ranges from good to excellent, and the waitresses are the best on the North Shore! [02 Nov 2005 19:35:16]

Too Much Crammed into a Small Building Don't even bother going on a Thursday or Friday night. Too "townie" in character. Crowded, noisy, average food, and slow wait service in restaurant area.
Overpriced for what you get--and especially after waiting 30 minutes. Never again. [13 Feb 2006 19:56:03]

World's Coziest Restaurant My wife and I went on our first date here back in '99... so I guess we're a little biased. But we keep going back, so I think that says something. This restaurant has the best atmosphere anywhere. It is such a warm inviting cute little place! The prices are actually pretty good for the area, and they always have great specials. My only advice is not to go on a weekend night as it is too crowded. [26 Apr 2006 08:58:06]

A+ In Every Area My husband, friends and I have been back to this establishment five times within three weeks. The food is superb, very hot, and the service is extremely attentive. Being a waitress for 35 years, I am extremely fussy about all of the above. Needless to say, we are becoming regulars.
I treated my friends out to dinner Wednesday night at 4:30. We were seated promptly. Everything from drinks, salad, (which is so fresh and generously portioned), entree (once again very hot and fresh, cooked to perfection), and superb service (never a long wait, very very accommodating). Keep up with all you do.
A caring, well done establishment. Being a waitress all these years, I expect perfection, and I have found it in this restaurant. [25 Aug 2006 11:51:40]

Worth the Wait... Yes, you do have to wait quite a while on a Friday or Saturday night...but it is really worth it. The food is excellent and the drinks are even better. The staff and management always come by to see how you liked the food and they really seem to care. I'm a pretty picky about where I eat fish, and this place is fantastic! [25 Nov 2006 18:04:41]

Four of us from Saugus go every Saturday night for dinner. We arrive at 4, have a carafe of wine, and then wait for the dinner menu. We find the food and service excellent. We realize you have to go early on the weekend or you do wait, but we have waited and it is well worth the wait.

Glad to Hear It's Still a Great Place I was pretty much a "regular" here in the early 90's. Moved to California in 1993 and was only back once. That day, the Weathervane was closed for renovations.
It was a great place back then, good food, drink and service. From most of the reviews, I see it's still a great place now. [13 May 2007 14:17:42]

I've Been Eating Here for over 25 Years My wife and I travel to Hamilton from Arlington several times a year. It's a nice ride and the food is always delicious. My wife likes to try different things and she's always pleased. I, on the other hand, always get a Bloody Mary, a cup of onion soup, and an open face Reuben that comes with great fries. Oh yeah my wife always gets a Long Island Iced Tea. [22 Sep 2007 17:09:00]
