Description

A Chinese restaurant that also serves sushi. Dim sum is offered on weekends (order from a menu, not from carts), with some Taiwan/Northern-style and some Cantonese-style items.

The interior is divided into a bar section (to the right as you enter) and a main dining room (to the left). One wall of the dining room is mostly taken up by tanks holding live fish and shellfish.

There menu offers both regular Suburban Chinese fare and "Chinatown-style" dishes.

The restaurant is tucked away in a small strip mall, behind a Sunoco station, and is not easy to see from Rte. 9. The small shopping strip adjoins the larger Home Goods shopping strip.

Unbelievable Sushi
Green Tea gets a lot of attention for its Chinese food, and rightly so; it is as good as any in Chinatown. However, the sushi bar is often overlooked, and that is a shame. The sushi at Green Tea is unlike any you have ever seen or tasted. The Chinese born, French trained chef is making creations that will thrill your eyes as well as your tastebuds. Be sure to find Sonny and let him suggest his newest invention. It's a little hard to find, but worth seeking out this special place.    [09 Mar 2006 12:54:39]
