Description
Chicago-style steakhouse with a bar and grill near the entry for late nights when the dining room's closed. Beyond the bar is a large center dining room with smaller, corners set off by a few steps and a glassed-in, private dining room. It's all high-ceilinged and elegant, with lots of wood and brass and usually noisy because it's busy.

Very Elegant Place To Eat Very nice restaurant. Nice open bar right when you get in so you can wait for a seat (which you will) incredible menu, and excellent steak and nice sides. Very nice atmosphere and the service is so kind and grateful. Only problem is there is always a wait and parking can be hard. Once you have a seat you will think the wait was worth it. Over Hyped and Over Priced I've given 111 five solid chances to impress me and it has simply never measured up to the sophisticated image or high menu prices. Although the chophouse style decor really is well designed, the food unfortunately seems to have been dropped back to a much lower priority and the service is typically under-trained and over-hurried. Think Desmond O'Malleys in Framingham at about 3 X the price.
Mashed potatoes with everything , a funny runover mushy melting of flavors like all the food had been cooked in a crockpot, and a hurried "eat it quick and get up so we can turn over the table" attitude. [23 Oct 2004 18:01:38]

Three Strikes and You're Out I've been here 3 times, each time worse than the time before.
The food was subpar, and the service was rude and tried to hurry us out. Filet was just ok - very dry. Potato - better at home. Wine selection was ok.
I'm done with this place. [04 Oct 2005 20:40:11]

Disaster I have been to the Chophouse 3 times. Never again!
The food was ok. Considering I asked for my filet medium and it came out raw. I sent it back and then it tasted like it was microwaved. I would've waited for my filet to be cooked correctly.
We had 2 servers that could never be found. The woman cleaning tables helped us more than anyone else. And when we asked about dessert, we got a huge sigh and the server stomped away. The service was horrible. This restaurant needs to start thinking about how to tend to customers without rushing them out the door. [13 Nov 2006 11:16:06]
