An Unpleasant Easter Sunday Brunch Because our first trip to this restaurant had been so pleasant, we decided to go there for Easter Sunday Brunch. My daughter is a student at UMCP and its location was convenient as well. This was a totally different and mostly unpleasant experience. The buffet itself was good and the choices varied. That was the good part. The the manager was rude to everybody and the operation completely disorganized. Even for a buffet there was not enough staff to keep dishes cleared off the table and drink orders filled. People without reservations were being seated at tables on the deck. Nice for them, but the management kept insisting the doors to the deck had to be open so the busboys could clear the tables. Several complaints that this made our inside table cold and breezy did nothing to improve the situation. Cocktails, juices, tea, and coffee were included in the buffet price but sodas were extra. Come on, give me a break. I'm going to think twice before going back with guests for graduation dinner [21 Apr 2003 10:11:11]

Christmas Buffet My family attended the Christmas buffet and the experience was most disappointing. First, the dining room was so cold that we had to eat with our coats on. When we mentioned how cold it was, the only comment was "this the temperature in here all the time." Then towards the end of the meal, water started dripping on our table from the ceiling (it was raining hard). The food containers were not kept filled; there was no gravy on the buffet for mashed potatoes. You had to ask for it and they brought me a cup from the kitchen. They ran out of ham by 3:30, and unless you were in line to get turkey and ham (before they ran out) when they brought out fresh pieces, all you got were scraps. It was just an awful dining experience. In comparison, my family attended a Thanksgiving buffet at Harrison's on Tilghman's Island. The food was plentiful, the containers were kept filled with food, the dining room was comfortabl [27 Dec 2005 08:46:47]

Poor Landing Christmas day, 2005. Reservations for 9 people at 3PM. Seeating in a narrow area. Occupants on one side of the table were basically sitting in the aisle. Area was cool and drafty.
No mashed potatos, no sweet potatos, no gravy, no dressing. Had to wait at the serving table for a turkey to be brought out. Server said a ham was being warmed. I understand a ham made it to the serving table, but I had already taken enough to be considered "full", without overeating. I heard talk of roast beef, but did not see any.
Previous holiday visits to 94th were quite good, but this one was will cause 94th to be dropped from the list of restaurants to consider [11 Jan 2006 18:58:39]

Graduation dinner not up to expectations 6PM dinner for 9, with reservations, on Monday, May 22, 2006, graduation day for the colleges at the University of Maryland in College Park. Very limited menu. Nice view of green bushes outside, hiding the runway that was just behind a chain-link fence. Some of the wooden chairs were very wobbly. Garlic mashed potatoes were ordered by most to accompany their entree. We were served a rice and vegetable combination, but were told, when served, that an unexpected group of 20 people had arrived and that they were out of the garlic mashed potatoes, but were making more. We were offered french fries at that time, and many of us ordered them. The french fries were hot, and very good! But after they were served, it took about 15 minutes to get some ketchup. The one person who ordered the rice & vegetable combination with the entree was not served any side until asking for it -- many minutes after the waitress said that she would bring some right out. Coffee was served in clear "up" cups. I don't know why, but I never like that. Very sweet, pleasant waitress who couldn't properly describe the entrees. Good location. [30 May 2006 13:37:00]

great! Well, I'll go ahead and write the first positive review. i've been to 94th aerosquadron for dinner 3 times, and have loved it every time. None of these times have been holidays or special occasions, just random dates or dinner during the semester.
The food is always excellent (salads crisp, steaks properly cooked) and service has been great. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good place to eat in College Park. [09 Feb 2007 20:04:33]
