Where Everybody Knows Your Name The friendly camaraderie of Cheers has nothing on this neighborhood bistro. The antithesis of the modern chain restaurant, you're as likely as not to see three generations of the Barbera family on any given night. The entire staff is friendly and attentive, and the crowd is mostly repeat customers. You'll soon be greeted by name as you enter, and feel right at home. The food is fresh, creative, and delicious. My Favorite Place to Eat Aida's Restaurant is a favorite destination of mine. While my family loves eating at Aida's on the weekends, I frequently entertain clients at this friendly bistro during the week. The reasons are pretty simple. The owners (Joe & Mary) make sure we enjoy great food with stellar service in a very relaxed, warm atmosphere. Because of the owners' keen interest in wines, especially smaller, boutique labels, the wine list changes periodically to keep the total dining experience as fresh as the food's ingredients. The colors, lighting and seating are reminiscent of European-style bistros and cafes. It is indeed a joy to eat and drink at Aida's Bistro. [01 Mar 2006 09:10:46]

Best of Baltimore, Period ! Wake up and smell the reviews "LIL ITLY", Your fryer oil stinks. You may want to consider changing it every so often. My wife and I used to be dedicated High Street patrons. Now that we have discovered " Aida Bistro" in Columbia, we will happily travel further for a culinary experiance and delight no longer found in your nieghborhood. [01 Mar 2008 01:46:12]

Don't waste your time or money here! My wife and I thought that we would try this place out during the Howard county restaurant week, but we were sadly disappointed with the quality of our meal. She choose the Salmon filet from the limited restaurant week options, which turned out to be a VERY small portion. I would guess it was only around 3-4 ounces in weight and a bit on the dry side. Instead of going with the limited menu options, I chose the Shrimp Scampi over linguini. I don't think that I have ever had shrimp that were this tough and chewy, like leather! Our overall experience was soured with lousy food preparation and portion size that didn’t match the high cost of our meals. [31 Jul 2008 09:16:33]
