Ambrosia Best in Maryland. And lovely people cooking and serving you. Ambrosia is the best deal in town. Try the soups, Tomato macoroni, chicken gumbo, or bean. Club sandwich, spagetti with meat sauce, or Athenian chicken yum yum. Friday's special is fish pilatki and monday is awesome meatloaf with corn. Try everything on the menu it's all good. If you happen to hear the sound of a donkey, camel, or goat, it might be "Pete" the owner. He does absolutely perfect immitations of these animals. Good people, service and food. A fun place. Ambrosia is the best! [04 Jan 2003 08:00:09]

Tender Lamb My favorites are Lamb Youvetsi and Lamb Kampana. Both are excellent; the meat is so tender. In fact, I love these dishes so much, I never get anything else, so I don't know how their other dishes are. Prices are decent too. Just remember they don't accept any form of payment other than cash. [24 Jan 2003 15:23:15]

Forrty minutes after I ordered food for carry-out, I arrived at the place only to find that my order had been misplaced. None of the staff was in the least helpful -- I didn't even get an apology. In fact, the only reaction I got was a half-hearted mutter about them being sorry that I had to wait. And the food did nothing to make up for the astoundingly poor service. This is one patron that place will never see again. [26 Apr 2004 20:35:57]

Great Food, Good Service Be prepared to wait on line if you don't call ahead with reservations - but it is worth the wait if you decide to stick it out. Their meat dishes are so very tender, and their sauces are spiced to perfection. Although the service could use a bit of improvement, they are quick to rectify problems. [16 Dec 2004 18:37:31]

Not good I thought this would have the same quality as the original Ambrosia but it sure wasn't. The food seemed taste like it just come out of the can. Definitely a place to avoid. [16 Mar 2005 15:17:18]
