Smallest burgers EVER. For a place with "Burger" in their name, you would think that they would have good burgers. But you would be wrong. One of the best items is the lobster rolls.
The place is hopping for breakfast, where it's cheap and good. How can you screw up eggs and toast? [01 Nov 2005 22:19:47]

Used to be the Big S Been coming here whenever I am in Maine since 1962 when I was a student at Bates College.
The steak sandwiches are the greatest and they use mozzarella cheese and home made (or at least bakery fresh - probably from Laberdees Bakery if that still exists). The REAL steak (not steakums) get sliced/hacked right at the employees grills as they face you.
Lobster rolls are out of sight. I always come out of there with 2 or 3 steak (never tried the hamburgers) and 2 lobster rolls to take on the plane with me back to New Jersey. [23 Feb 2006 04:20:27]
