Good place to get a fresh home style meal with a gourmet flare This is a very pleasant and family friendly place. There's a bar on one side and more of a family dining atmosphere on the other. You'll see a lot of small groups or business diners. Or you may see seniors diners or families out for a "slow food" meal.
The servers are always friendly and courteous. I have twin 5 yr olds and they always get special service!!
The food is very good and they have daily or weekly specials.
One thing, the restrooms are older looking but very clean. [10 Apr 2006 19:28:51]

To be avoided ... To be avoided, as the food quality becomes less with each visit, even from the sandwich menu. French onion soup is of low quality with a crust of bread left from the french revolution (harder than hard tack); did not even cut with a knife on a side plate! French dip sandwhich dried beef the au jus was their french onion soup. The roasted garlic was presented a la garlic mush.
The environment which I had always appreciated for it plainness has become overwhelmed with the rank odor from the kitchen - probably their gorgonzola dishes - but decidedly overwhelms the atmosphere with nauseating thoughts.
Service? Caring Manager? There is no one to seat you until you are confronted with: Where are you going? as you enter the dining areas. Manager? Mention the poor quality of the food. The answer: "No Problem." Probably very true from their stand point as they pocketed the $50 for a 2-person snack of a meal.
Go elsewhere to be insulted. [15 Dec 2006 12:57:28]
