great food
I've never had such good Thai food. I recommend the Tom Yum soup and the cashew chicken. The Thai iced coffee is delicious too [14 Jul 2005 18:14:01]

Since my wife is deathly allergic to peanuts, my only opportunity to go out for Thai is at lunch. It just so happens that I'm fortunate enough to be working within a few miles of Bangkok 96, which is a destination of choice for my co-workers and myself.
The food is simply outstanding, from the simplest soup through the delightful and delicious curries, up to the pla jien (shredded pork, shrimp, mushroom, green onions and ginger served on top of fried fish). Being a bit of a curry junkie, Bangkok 96 satisifes my cravings quite nicely.
If you get to B96 (as we call it) any time after about 11:15am, expect to wait a long time for a seat. The small dining area fills quickly. [26 Sep 2005 12:22:32]

Ii like extra spicy (thanks to my Indian background)- they make me sweat.
I have a rating system, a scale of 1-5 (5=best). Every one of the chicken dishes are 4.5
'never tried pork, don't do beef, but I am sure they are equally good.
I especially love the soup and those crackers..

Good Food, Bad Ambiance
Everything I had was absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately, the condition of the restaurant was unacceptable. We were willing to put up with it for the great food, until our last bad experience.
