I have loved Daly's since I was a kid.

Still Great - After all these Years
One of the "hot spots" on the west side during the mid-60's !! It is perhaps the last (or one of the last) of the "drive -ins" that were sooo popular during the 50's and 60's.

Gathering at this (or another Daly's) along with their contemporary competitors, A & W, Big Boy, and so on, was a featured weekend event in the western burbs of Detroit - particularly for "teens with wheels."

In retrospect, I'm convinced that Daly's had the best food by far !!

Ah......those were the days. I really mourn for the teens of today (and yesteryear) that missed the drive-ins, both those serving food -and- those "serving" movies. It was a wonderful time to be young.    [10 Sep 2006 10:19:56]
