The perfect getaway! Walking inside you are transported away from the cell phones, the kids (although they could enjoy it too!), the palm pilots... Little Italy is by far (and this is coming from a local chef) what we in the industry strive to achieve. Perfect balance of decor, service, quality and presentation of food and of course, guest satisfaction - bottom line. Little Italy is the type of restaurant you want to thank for just being there! Pasta to seafood, you can't miss. Sauces are refreshingly robust and fresh. Wine list is well thought out. Service is prompt, friendly yet unobtrusive. We Win!!!!

A waste of money
Totally boring cooking. No flavor to anything...watery soup, limp salad, probably made hours earlier, and a chicken breast entree that was less than stellar. Overpriced and pretentious. As ethnic as Big Boy at 5 times the price!    [02 Jul 2005 21:58:26]

The Last Word On Italian in Michigan
This place has it all! Fantastic food, an amazing wine list. Fine dining with great service in the ristorante. Casual dining at great prices in the bar and a take out market next door. They make ALL of the pasta in house. Yes Baby!    [13 Oct 2005 11:40:34]

Fantastic
Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in the Detroit Metro area. Incredible food, excellent service, great wine list. I especially like the options of dining in the fine dining front part or the more casual bar area in back with its inexpensive alla carta menu.
