Very Dissapointed
We wanted to try some new restaurant for New Year's. I have to say we were so dissapointed in the service. The specials of the night were Salmon and Prime Rib. We liked the atmostphere. A half hour AFTER we ordered, the waiter came out and told my husband that there was no more salmon. He ordered something else. About 35 minutes later the waiter came out and told my girlfriend that there was no more prime rib available. We were angry and hungry at this point. To think that it was New Year's and both specials were "OUT" FOR THE EVENING" was ridiculous! It was only approximately 8:45. After an additional 40 -50 minutes, we still did not receive our main dishes. We spoke to the hostess and left. I have to say, we loved the house salad dressing, but the size of the salad was not enough for a child. Needless to say, I would not recommend this restaurant and it was not a good start to the new year.    [13 Jan 2005 10:12:02]

Two Thumbs Up!
When I went to chestnuts I was with a group of friends. I haven't been to chestnuts before and I enjoyed the service. the waiter was extremely nice and met our needs very well. The food was really good and it was at a great price. the atmosphere what claming and felt like we were in lodge. the only thing we didn't like was the window paint. it kinda reminded me of a car dealership, and it was a little tacky.    [09 Nov 2005 11:31:53]

A nice addition to the far western 'burbs
We went on a Saturday evening and got right in. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant was clean and open, and the waitstaff was good. Our food came quickly and everything we ordered was done nicely. We'll go back again.    [21 May 2006 17:13:23]
