Rude Customer Service
They have very rude customer service. If you ask to speak with a manager, you will be lucky if he or she deems you worthy of their time.

They claim to have no smoking, but will seat you next to a smoker with only a 3 foot glass partition to separate you. If you have asthma or other respiratory conditions, try Don Pablo's or Chi Chi's.    [29 Jul 2002 12:57:02]

LOVE IT!
I can't understand the last reviewer!? Were you eating at the same restaurant? My fiance and I absolutely LOVE La Casita and have for six years! The restaurant used to be on 394 in Golden Valley...some other icky restaurant has taken its place! We were devastated! This restaurant serves the yummiest warm chips and salsa...great margaritas and the absolute best Mexican rice. Everything you order there will be hot and fresh...and they are really good about making it fast! I ADORE this restaurant and everyone we took there became huge fans! If you are looking for cheapy average Mexican food..go to ChiChi's or Don Pablos. If you are aching for mouth watering tortilla chips and the best Mexican food that doesn't taste cheap...go to LaCasita! My stomach is growling just writing this! Enjoy!!!    [07 Mar 2003 18:00:56]

Great Food and Atmosphere
The food is what we consider California Mexican, hot and spicy. It is great, servers are right on their toes, and are friendly. Drinks are big and they have drinks specials. The atmosphere is great, who ever painted the decor on the walls on the inside and out is a great artist. I Love La Casita
I have been going to La Casita since I was about 6 years old and I am now 21. My family and I were also very devastated to see the La Casita be replaced by a different restaurant in the Golden Valley location.
