Best Restaurant in Town
For a good steak, salad and potato meal, you can't miss with the Ely Steak House. Several cuts of beef, some chicken and, of course, walleye are included on the menu and there are daily specials. Roasted vegetables (quite good) are extra, as are fried onion rings or onions, mushrooms or green peppers atop your steak.

The wine list is decent (the Bogle Merlot is excellent!) and the service is brisk. No brunch, just the regular lunch menu on Sunday, but a decent Bloody Mary. Karoke on Thursday nights after 9 pm.    [11 Jun 2003 09:37:12]

Very noisy - service was fine, but food took too long. Steak was tough and baked potato cold. Cocktails were good, but overall we paid too much for too little.    [08 Apr 2005 22:13:18]
