Frozen Heaven for the tongue If you find yourself in the small lakeside town of Excelsior, MN, you'll want to make a stop at Adele's Frozen Custard. It's a smooth, refreshing taste from the past. The various flavors of Custard pratically melt on your tongue. It's cool, refreshing, frozen velvetness is alone worth the trip to Excelsior. There isn't a bad flavor in the bunch, but particularly tasty flavors include Blue Moon, an electric blue sensation, and Butterfinger, loaded with large chunks of candy pieces. [10 Jun 2002 16:11:35]

Adele's is delicious I have been going to Adele's Frozen Custard since it opened in 1985 when Adele was running the place. They have kept the same formula and quality over the years, making it the most authentic tasting custard in Minnesota. The reason Adele's is so delicious is because they don't load on the fat. It is just the right combination of cream, eggs and sugar blended in a machine that makes it thick. Have you ever weighed a cone compared to DQ, what a joke. This place is a must-stop if you are around the lakes. Oh, try the BBQ sandwich, my favorite. [11 Jun 2005 00:04:50]

Yum! I'm a college student in a town not far from Adele's. Whenever my family visits from Chicago this is on my top ten list of places to take them. Everyone LOVES IT!
It's best to eat outside on the deck. [26 Aug 2005 13:21:54]

If you are within 10 miles, you need to make a trip to Adele's There is something refreshing about a place with a simple menu: Custard, and done well. Sure, there are a few lunch sandwiches and stuff, but this place knows their niche: The best custard in the Twin Cities. You won't be disappointed. [21 May 2006 17:16:07]
