Prime rib worthy of Denny's Restaurant has gone downhill over past two years. Still a nice place, but now just an overpriced, somewhat fancy eatery.
Most foods are excellent however. [07 Jun 2003 00:35:33]

Worst service imaginable We had a reservation. 30 minutes after the reservation time we were told it would be another 15 minute wait (maybe!). Decided to eat at the Tiki hut instead. Had to ask for menus twice before we got them. Waiter overlooked one person's order. Men's bathroom was out of towels to dry your hands. One lame apology which didn't even sound sincere. Pulling the rug out We have been to the Chart House several times for brunch complete with their special cinnamon rolls and complimentary champagne mimosas. We made reservations for Mother's Day and were not told about the "very inflated" price for that day. By the time we found out ($27.95 per person), it was too late to go anywhere else. When we got to the restaurant, I asked where the cinnamon rolls were. They were not serving them today...and the mimosas...weren't serving them either unless you wanted to pay $4.50 each! Their rationale for not serving either was that they were serving prime rib instead. This by the way was not good prime rib! Basically inflate the price and serve half the food as a normal brunch. We were very disappointed to say the least and definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone else. [15 May 2006 12:28:21]

Overpriced, but great outdoor dining We live close by, are eat out frequently and were excited the first time we went to Chart House, as they had great deals on daily specials. However, they are pricey compared to other restaurants with similar food options. The outdoor atmosphere is nice, but not worth it. [06 Dec 2006 19:00:34]
